Life (?) after Death

People have often speculated as to the nature of life after death. Is there life after death? Is there reincarnation? Are there adult stores in Heaven? Or is life just a product of chemical reactions that cease upon death? These questions and more, coming up!

First, one has to understand that life after death is not a simple matter. Upon the death of a person, their sole is transfered to a higher reality for a grace period. This grace period is of varying length, depending on the person, the age at which they died, and how busy Death is at the moment. Sometimes, for odd reasons, a person may end up with a triple grace period, or as I call it, a "Grace ...". People in the grace period can sometimes be sensed by other people. They are termed "old fogeys", and will often claim that they are not dead, just rather old. Don't believe them.

After the grace period has expired, the person moves on to be reborn in a new form. The diagram of the different forms a person can take is shown above.

This is the Great Wheel, which represents the ways in which a person can be reborn. The inner regions are the different lives a person can live. Note that humanity is in the middle, and different beings from the different realms "bleed over" into humanity (people live with traits of another realm). Surrounding all this is the great Codvana, the perfect realm to which we seek to escape. People are born into different realms based on their Fishma, or their actions throughout their various lives. Each of the realms is explained below.

Humanity - The most obvious realm. The great unwashed that wander around the world, thinking they are the supreme beings on the planet. Note that since humanity is in the middle, and isolated directly from Codvana, the average person cannot escape the Great Wheel from the realm of Humanity. Generally, they need to be reborn as another form in order to strive to escape.

Animals - Another obvious realm, animals live in ignorant bliss. Their lives consist of a perpetual cycle of eating and being eaten. Often their lives are short and miserable, as they struggle to live in the harsh world. Bleed overs from the Animal Realm into the Human Realm are less common than they once were, with the people exhibiting primal and primitive activities.

Gods - A deceptively named realm. Gods exist in this realm like hackers who've "breached" a system and think they have control, when in fact, they merely walked into a trap. Gods toy with what they perceive to be the world, creating creatures, causing disasters, or whatever else they may choose to do. Instead, this is merely a realm of utter delusion, the gods being nothing more than floating consciousness in a world of their own imagination. Bleeds overs from the Gods Realm include schizophrenics and many political figures.

Darklings - A terrible, miserable realm. The realm of Darklings is akin to a dystopia. People seem to live their lives normally, but behind every action is a sinister meaning. People constantly plot against each other, seeking to overthrow each other in an attempt to gain a position of more power so they can lord over those under them and feel superiour. Bleed overs include psychopaths, sociopaths, tyrants, usurpers, murders, and rapists.

Sufferings - Quite literally, the realm of suffering. People born in here suffer from everything imaginable: diseases, war, crime, poverty, hunger, thirst. Those born here are often to atone for a great debt of Fishma. Bleed overs are typically those who suffer from chronic or incurable diseases, or those born into inescapable conditions.

Erotaes - A rather unusual realm, the erotaes are the "lusting spirits". With no physical bodies, they drift along in a state of maximum sexual arousal, unable to reach a point of release. Their lives are spent in perpetual, sexual torment, as they drift along, searching for something to give them relief from this pain. Bleed overs take the form of self-styled nymphomaniacs and others who seem never to be fully satisfied with sex.

Cod - Perhaps a bit confusing at first, until you understand the symbolism. Cod are both divine and mortal in nature, straddling the two realms as though they were merely a line on the road. Enlightened in their fish form, Cod are the closest to achieve Codvana, but most do not realize or accept it, and place another name or figure in place of Cod, barring them from Codvana. Bleed overs consist of virtually any prophetic figure, most of whom do not acknowledge Cod.
